Digital Health Revolution (presentation)

Last week I presented at the Fitness Writers’ Association here in London on the topic of digital health. It really was a struggle fitting everything in to the presentation due to the fast moving digital health space. It was a great evening with lots of thought-provoking questions from well known fitness journalists and professionals. I’ve uploaded my presentation to Slideshare which you can find below. I am really enjoying the theme/design of your website. Do you ever run into
any internet browser compatibility problems? A number of my blog visitors have complained about my blog not operating correctly in Explorer but looks great in Chrome.
Do you have any tips to help fix this problem?

    Hi Steven,

A lot of interesting stuff here. I think that the quality of consumer sensors is an issue at the moment, particularly when one questions the meaningfulness of Nike’s Heat data. I suspect that battery technology will be a limiting factor and I think that some of the more interesting stuff will happen when this is allied with the likes of Oystercard and credit card and store card data in an all up aggregated view.

The data has the ability revolutionise health insurance and pensions in the same way that in-car black boxes are shaking up car insurance (expect more of this). The future is B2B!
