There has been a particular focus within our program on how rapidly social media is developing, and how it can be used effectively. I think now, particularly grads within my year (2008) will be using our knowledge of social media to our advantage in looking for our first jobs.</description>

		<description>The video does a great job explaining in basic terms without too much jargon while still introducing key concepts and tools.  I have already shown one client.  The community aspect of new media could have been better addressed but that really is a different monster.  Thanks for posting.

The first challenge for today&#039;s comms professionals is obviously staying on top of the exponentially growing number of new channels for our stories to spread. The second equally challenging task is in getting acceptance and buy-in from clients. 2009 will really see the adoption of social media and web 2.0 tools really take off in the B2B space.</description>
